He received his masters in theatre from OU and has extensive background in summer theatre operations around the midwest and New England. This is his fourth year at OU. THE PLAYWRIGHT -- Doral Chenoweth wrote this play as a "closet play" -- meaning it had little chance of production because of the bitter and controversial subject matter. Chenoweth is an Ohioan. This is his third play out of thirteen to be produced in Ohio. The others were "I, Emerson Burkhart" and "THI$ GOD BU$INE$$."
